For what seems like years now, I’ve heard the following statements on a regular basis:
“I’m not good at computers”
“I’m not good with technology”
“I’m not tech-savvy”
To be brutally honest, these are copouts. Technology and computers are learnable skills. Sure, it can be complicated at times. Yes, computers and technology and the internet aren’t always intuitive. That’s no excuse for not learning.
Now more than ever presents a unique opportunity. This isn’t to discredit the suffering and hurt that’s taking place as a result of COVID-19. However, if you’ve found yourself with more time on your hands because of layoffs, a slow down in business, working from home, or for whatever reason, take this opportunity to learn a new skill. Especially if you’re not good at computers.
